Phyllis: Pel-Freez Rabbit

 

Basics carries Pel-Freez rabbit meat now in our freezer! I recommend this recipe:

Braised Rabbit with Onions

1 package rabbit meat, thawed and cut into pieces

1 cup oat flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon paprika

3 tablespoons butter

1 onion, sliced

1 cup sour cream

Instructions: Mix the oat flour, salt, and paprika. Dredge the rabbit pieces in this mixture. Melt butter in a skillet, then sauté the rabbit pieces until they are browned. Transfer to a baking dish. Top with sliced onions and sour cream. Cover and bake for 1.5 hours at 300 degrees.
