Donations increased 90% from 2020 to 2021
Basics is excited to announce that the Co-op was able to donate $11,915.59 to local non-profits in 2021!
This represents a dollar increase of 90% over 2020, and reflects the success of the Round Up donations program at registers (introduced in late 2020), as well as the Co-op’s ability to retain a solid financial footing despite the pandemic. As a co-op, we are a not-for-profit business ourselves; the fact that we can donate to others is a testament to the power of our growing community of loyal Owners and shoppers!
